Howard Bank's Executive Team Wins Smart CXO Award
Howard Bank’s Executive Management Team will be honored by Baltimore’s SmartCEO Magazine at a celebration at the B&O Railroad Museum on April 7.
Paul G. Brown, George Coffman and Charles E. Schwabe will be recognized at the Smart CXO Awards, which salute “Executive Management Team All-Stars who have gone above and beyond to support their organization's initiatives.”
“We are pleased that our executives have been singled out for the unique and lasting contributions that C suite executives make to a successful high growth organization,” said Howard Bank President & CEO Mary Ann Scully. “Without these three talented individuals,” she added, “Howard Bank would not have passed the many milestones that have brought us where we are today.”
Brown is Howard Bank’s Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer and Chief Client Services Officer. He was a member of the bank’s original organizing group. He is chair of the Board of Trustees of Trinity School in Ellicott City and a member of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation Board.
Coffman is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Howard Bank. A 20-year resident of Howard County, he, too, served on the bank’s organizing group.
Schwabe is the bank’s Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer. Also a member of the bank’s organizing group, he currently serves on the boards of Maryland Bank Services, Inc., a subsidiary of the Maryland Bankers Association and is treasurer of the board of the Columbia Festival of the Arts, among other organizations.
