Daphne Dressler Will Head Howard Bank’s Newest Branch

Vice President Daphne A. Dressler will be the manager of Howard Bank’s new Centennial Place Branch when it opens this fall.

Howard Bank’s fourth and newest branch will be located at the intersection of Route 40 and Centennial Lane in Ellicott City.

Before joining the locally-owned bank in December 2007, Dressler was an assistant vice president and manager of Bank of America’s West Friendship Office.

She joined Maryland National Bank 1981 as a floating teller and literally worked her way up through the ranks to manager at what became Bank of America. During her more than 25 years with the bank, she says she “worked the desk, in sales and everything in between.”

“Daphne’s broad expertise, as well as her deep community knowledge – most especially of the Baltimore National Pike and the western part of Howard County – will lend an added dimension to Howard Bank’s promise to consistently deliver sophisticated products, services and advice with a human hands on approach,” said Mary Ann Scully, President and CEO of Howard Bank.

A 1979 South Carroll High School Graduate, Dressler lives in Eldersburg with her husband Scott and their two children.
Among her community activities is serving as a youth leader at Oakland UM Church.

Howard Bank opened in August of 2004. It has branches in the Hickory Ridge Village Center in Columbia, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City and on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn.
