At Howard Bank, the health and well-being of our customers, colleagues, and communities are our top priority. With the CDC’s updated guidance, we have made a few updates to our safety protocols to align with the new guidance.

Updated - 12/31/21 at 10:00 a.m.

Effective Tuesday, December 28th, we are temporarily modifying branch access at some of our locations.

Please note that the information below is subject to change. We encourage you to check back regularly or call ahead to your preferred branch to confirm availability.

Drive-Thru Services Only

The following branches will remain open during regular hours for drive-thru services only:

While we realize that not all banking activities can be done via drive-thru, we are committed to doing our best to service your banking needs and/or work with you to make accommodations to do so.
If you are unsure if your banking need can be done via our drive-thru services, we encourage you to simply give us a call. We can tell you if the need can be met via a drive-thru and if not, help you make an appointment. If we know that you are coming, we can do a better job of making the accommodations to best service your request.

Banking "As Normal" Locations

As the following branches don’t offer drive-thru services, our team will be onsite operating as normal.

We care about YOU.

As always, customers can still call in for advice or for help solving problems; our ability to be helpful, proactive and add value is still very much a part of who we are and how we can and will continue to support our clients even in the most of uncertain times.

Face Coverings

Effective, Tuesday, December  28th, all individuals entering our Baltimore and Howard County as well as Baltimore City locations are required to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status.

Individuals wearing face coverings may be asked to briefly lower them and provide identification prior to entering a branch.  Face coverings are still required for team members regardless of vaccination status at all locations.

Social Distancing

Upon entering the branch, all customers must maintain social distancing (6-feet apart). Our floors have Howard Bank "h"  markers to help guide customers and enforce adequate distance.

Enhanced Cleanings

We will continue our increased sanitization and daily cleaning measures. Hand sanitizing stations are available at every branch for customer use. Upgrades to our HVAC systems were completed to ensure cleaner air circulation throughout the buildings including the use of an ultraviolet light system as recommended by the CDC to promote an extra level of defense against the spread of viruses.

Extra Protection

Our branches have plexiglass shields installed at the teller line stations and platform area. These shields help to provide an extra layer of protection both to our customers and employees and allows transactions to be as contactless as possible.

No Entry With Symptoms

Please do not enter any of our facilities if you are sick or experiencing any COVID-like symptoms. While we are doing all we can to keep our customers and employees safe, the best protection comes from you!

Digital & Drive-Thru Options

If you do not feel comfortable driving to our branches, you still have digital banking options available to you. We encourage you to utilize digital banking options as much as possible. You can access your account information and perform a multitude of transactions on your mobile phone or computer.
