Howard Bank Opens New Annapolis Branch

Company Release - 07/11/2012 11:00
Howard Bank has opened an expanded Anne Arundel County branch, this one on Defense Highway in Annapolis.

The bank has had a commercial branch on Annapolis Exchange Parkway since 2010, but that branch is unable to do cash transactions, said Howard Bank vice president and marketing manager Timothy S. Rozalski.

"We opened the new branch to further service our Annapolis area customers. With a full service branch, we can meet all of their banking needs," he noted.

Faiza Chaudhry is manager of the new branch. A resident of North Laurel, she came to Howard Bank from Capital One Bank, where she was a branch manager and assistant vice president. She holds bachelors and masters degrees from Punjab University in Pakistan.

"There is a reason we created Howard Bank — to support small and medium sized businesses in an ever consolidating industry" said bank chairman, president and CEO Mary Ann Scully. "Our focus and our related expertise resonate with our target clients. We've had great feedback on our brand's extension into Anne Arundel County. Our full service branch on Defense Highway has gotten a very warm welcome from our existing customers."

Howard Bank opened in August of 2004. In addition to its Defense Highway branch and Annapolis Exchange regional office, it has branches in the Village of Hickory Ridge in Columbia, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City, on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn and at the intersection of Route 40 and Centennial Lane in Ellicott City.
