Himmel Joins Howard Bank As Relationship Manager
Michael G. Himmel is the new Vice President-Relationship Manager at Howard Bank. In his new job, he is responsible for originating and underwriting commercial loan facilities, preparing loan packages to meet corporate credit policy and providing other banking services to the business community
Himmel joins Howard Bank from EagleBank in Bethesda where he was Vice President-Commercial Lender.

A resident of Woodstock, Himmel earned an MBA in finance from the University of Baltimore and is a graduate of RMA Advanced Commercial Lending School at East Carolina University.
He is a member of the Clarksville Rotary Club and serves on the planning staff of Bowling For Scholars, Learning Bank of Maryland. He also serves on the boards of directors of the Anne Arundel County and Silver Spring Branches of the YMCA and the Baltimore Washington Chamber of Commerce.
Howard Bank is the community’s only locally-owned bank. It opened in August of 2004 and has branches in Hickory Ridge, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City, on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn.
