Howard Bank Is Future 50 Winner Again

Howard Bank, the county’s only locally owned and locally managed community bank, has been named a Future 50 winner for the second year in a row by SmartCEO Magazine.

According to SmartCEO, Future 50 companies represent the top 50 local growth companies, based on employee and revenue growth over the last three years.  To qualify, a business must be at least three years old and typically not older than 10 years.

Howard Bank started in August of 2004. It has branches in the Village of Hickory Ridge in Columbia, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City and on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn. A fourth branch in Ellicott City at the crossroads of Route 40, Centennial Lane and Frederick Road is also planned.
