Schwabe Elected to Columbia Festival of the Arts Board

Charles E. Schwabe, Executive Vice President of Howard Bank, Howard County’s only locally owned and managed bank, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Columbia Festival of the Arts, which recently celebrated Columbia’s 40th birthday with record-breaking attendance and critical acclaim.  Schwabe will serve as Chair of the Marketing Committee.

Schwabe has served as the President of the Baltimore chapter of the American Marketing Association and has been an instructor in Marketing, Research and Economics at Goucher College and Drexel University. He has served on Loyola College’s Marketing Advisory Board and currently serves as a board member of Maryland Bank Services, Inc.

Howard Bank has branches in the Village of Hickory Ridge in Columbia, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City and on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn. A fourth branch in Ellicott City at the crossroads of Route 40, Centennial Lane and Frederick Road is also planned.
