Howard Bank Promotes Knickman and Marasco

Barbara Knickman and Christopher G. Marasco have been elected senior vice presidents of Howard Bank, Howard County’s only locally owned and managed bank, announced Mary Ann Scully, President and CEO.

Knickman, a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, started with the bank in 2005 and is the Deposit Operations and Branch Administration Manager.  This past school year, she has served as a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland’s Bigs In School program at Guilford Elementary and is a member of the Board of Directors of Voices for Children.

Ellicott City resident Marasco joined Howard Bank in 2004 as a Relationship Manager.  A University of Baltimore graduate, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation and serves on various committees for the Columbia Foundation.

Howard Bank has branches in the Village of Hickory Ridge in Columbia, on Snowden River Parkway in Ellicott City and on Johns Hopkins Road in Maple Lawn. A fourth branch in Ellicott City at the crossroads of Route 40, Centennial Lane and Frederick Road is also planned.
